  • Some 130 senior residents of Jalan Kukoh were invited for a celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival at Club@52 for a time of warm, nostalgic reunion on 23 September.
  • The Big Sleep Hotels’ portfolio comprising 3 hotels in Cardiff, Cheltenham and Eastbourne in the United Kingdom were acquired in August by Compass Hospitality Holdings (UK) Limited, a joint venture where Seacare Hospitality (UK) Limited holds an interest of 30%.

The 81-room Big Sleep Cardiff is located in the city centre opposite the Motorpoint Arena and the new St. David’s shopping arcade, all within walking distance of Café Quarter’s al fresco dining street, Cardiff Central railway station and Millennium Stadium.

The 60-room Big Sleep Cheltenham is located in the shopping hub along Bath Road and a short distance to Cheltenham Town Hall and Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum.

The 50-room Big Sleep Eastbourne has lovely sea view of the English Channel across the Western Lawns.  It is located 400 metres from Eastbourne Town Centre, 10 minutes’ walking distance from Eastbourne Pier, and 5 minutes’ drive away from Beachy Head’s white cliffs.

  • Seacare OKiKi P-Hub (S) Pte Ltd acquired a 10% interest in OKiKi China (上海港湾教育信息咨询有限公司) in June and a 10% interest in Jiaxing Okiki Raffles Education Advisory (嘉兴市胡姬港湾莱佛士教育咨询有限公司) in August.

OKiKi China is a leading early childhood education institution in China which owns and operates four premier kindergartens in Shanghai.

  • Mr Goh Yeow Tin, Chairman of Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd and Seacare Medical Holdings Pte Ltd, was conferred the Public Service Star (Bar) award on National Day.
  • Gift vouchers on the basis on $1.50’s worth of gift vouchers per share under the Seacare Pioneer Appreciation Scheme, a one-off gesture of gratitude to Ordinary Members of Seacare Co-operative Ltd on the occasion of the Co-operative’s 21st Anniversary celebration, were awarded in May.
  • Part-time and full-time staffs of Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd were each awarded with a one-off SG50 bonus in the form of NTUC Fairprice gift vouchers ranging from $50 to $200 in August.
  • Some 270 senior citizens from Jalan Kukoh members of the Residents’ Committee and Seniors’ Activity Centre were invited for Lunar New Year Lunch Celebration at the Red Star Restaurant on 3 March.
